Materials Used
We used several products and supplies in the making of our Valentine’s lollipop covers. Below is a list of what we used.
- Valentines Love Bug Lollipop Holders – Digital Download SVG
- Recollections cardstock
- Art Glitter Glue
- Dum Dum Lollipops
- Electric Cutting Machine: Cricut or Silhouette

These lollipops are quick and easy to put together. Cutting a large batch and creating an assembly line will help if you are trying make them for school party or other group gift. We used smaller lollipops for this project. If you are using ones that are much larger, you may need to scale the entire SVG file a little larger to accommodate.
Assembling The Lollipop Covers
To start the assembly, we assembled each character as a 2D design. This can be either done on their own then attached to the base that’s folded in half or you can assemble straight onto the base. Either way is fine. We assembled the love bugs (mainly the bee and the snail), then attached the two sides of the to the base.
Covering The Lollypop
After the characters are assembled, we placed the lollipop into the holder, wiggled it down to get the candy part centered in the cut out hole. Sometimes this is super easy, sometimes there’s a little resistance, we find this all depends on how tightly the wrapper is on the lollipop. Once it’s settled into place, we added glue to the inside of the holder and held in position. You can decide how much to glue depending on how large your lollipop is.
